In response to the rapid developments in biotechnology and laboratory diagnostics, and under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Science, the college organized a specialized workshop titled "Modern Strategies and Techniques in Virus Diagnosis." The workshop was presented by (Asst. Lect. Khitam Mohammed Hamza), with the participation of a select group of professors, researchers, and specialists in life sciences and biotechnology.

The workshop aimed to highlight the qualitative leap the world has recently witnessed in virus detection mechanisms, shifting from traditional methods to high-precision molecular and digital technologies.
