The College of Medicine continues its development programs with seminars on the power of words, the language of dialogue, and first aid.
Under the patronage of the President of Warith Al-Anbiya University, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jiyawi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, and in cooperation with the Iraqi Syndicate for Development and Training, the College of Medicine held three scientific development seminars aimed at enhancing academic and humanitarian awareness among students and faculty members. These seminars took place on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2025, in the workshops and training hall in the Al-Naeem Building.
The seminars began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of Iraq's martyrs, followed by the playing of the Iraqi national anthem amidst an atmosphere of national and academic pride and belonging. The seminars addressed several topics, focusing on the power of words, situational awareness, the language of dialogue, and the importance of constructive communication in university and professional life. Additionally, a first aid seminar included practical demonstrations and field applications on how to handle emergency situations before the arrival of medical personnel. The seminars were presented by Dr. Sabah Al-Jubouri, Professor Mustafa Al-Tai, Professor Ali Al-Araji, and Professor [Name Missing]. Tasneem Al-Haddad, who enriched the audience with her knowledge and field experience, was among the speakers. At the conclusion of the events, the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Saadoun Al-Ghazi, distributed certificates of appreciation to the lecturers in recognition of their distinguished efforts in making these seminars a success. These events are part of the vision of the College of Medicine at Warith Al-Anbiya University (peace be upon him), which aims to build a conscious generation that combines knowledge, skill, and refined human conduct.
