Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Mohammed Ali Kashkoul, Head of the Digital Media Department at the College of Media, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (PBUH), participated in the activities of the Second International Heritage Conference. The event was held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (AS) from January 22–23, 2026, with extensive participation from researchers and specialists in the fields of heritage and manuscripts.
Dr. Kashkoul’s participation featured the discussion of his scientific research paper titled: "Digital Transformation as a Strategic Option in Managing Heritage Manuscripts: An Applied Study on the Libraries of Holy Najaf."
The research highlighted the vital importance of adopting digital transformation as a strategic necessity to preserve and maintain heritage manuscripts. It emphasized ensuring the sustainability of these documents while facilitating access for researchers in accordance with modern scientific standards.
Furthermore, the paper underscored the role of digital technologies in evolving manuscript management methods, specifically in areas of digitization, database construction, and the enhancement of indexing processes, aligning with contemporary trends in managing calligraphic heritage.
This participation contributed to the conference's final scientific recommendations, which stressed the urgency of accelerating digital transformation in manuscript management—particularly within the libraries of Holy Najaf—as a primary strategic path to safeguarding Najafi and Islamic heritage.

Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Claims Top Spot in Iraqi Academic Rankings.
In a significant milestone, the Department of Accounting at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (PBUH) has been ranked 1st among private universities and 8th overall (including public institutions) in the latest Iraqi Ranking for Scientific Departments. This success underscores the university’s commitment to academic excellence and its leading role in the Iraqi educational landscape.
Students of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, including the Departments of Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Technology, sat for the midterm examinations of the first semester for the academic year 2025–2026.
The examinations were conducted in an appropriate atmosphere and in accordance with well-facilitated procedures, ensuring the provision of a suitable examination environment for students.
The Dean also reviewed the examination process and listened to students’ feedback regarding the organization of examination halls, the clarity of the questions, and their alignment with the course curriculum.

The Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Mohammed Ali Al-Ghanami, received a high-level delegation from the College of Engineering – Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Hadi Hussein, Dean of the College, accompanied by a group of faculty members.
The visit came to extend congratulations to Dr. Al-Ghanami on the occasion of assuming the position of Dean of the College, wishing him continued success and prosperity in his academic and administrative career.

"As part of its commitment to enhancing the social and educational role of women, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Media, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in collaboration with the University’s Women’s Affairs Department, organized an awareness lecture titled 'The Active Role of Women in Managing Climate Change Risks and Environmental Conservation.' The event took place on Wednesday, December 24, 2025."
"The lecture was delivered by Asst. Lect. Sara Mohammed Kadhim, Head of the Women's Empowerment Unit at the college. She focused on fundamental axes aimed at enhancing environmental awareness among the college’s students and staff. The lecture highlighted the vital responsibility that falls upon women in confronting current climate challenges and their pioneering role in adopting and disseminating sustainable practices that contribute to the protection of ecosystems.
Under the slogan "Women’s Power in Societal Development," the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Media, University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him), in cooperation with the University’s Women’s Affairs Division, launched an extensive educational media campaign on Monday, November 24, 2025.
The campaign, which featured the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Saleh Majeed Ali, aimed to highlight women's qualitative contributions across various societal, economic, and cultural development sectors. It also emphasized the vital importance of empowering women to lead positive change within society.

Warith Al-Anbiyaa University (PBUH) has achieved a new academic milestone by securing second place among private universities in Iraq for the second year in a row. This ranking was announced as part of the 2025 Iraqi University Classification results by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The classification evaluated the performance of 103 public and private universities based on nine primary pillars, including:

Warith Al-Anbiyaa University Conducts Qur’an Memorization Test at the College of Islamic Sciences
As part of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University’s (peace be upon him) initiative to honor memorizers of the Holy Qur’an through a reduction in tuition fees, a special examination for students who have memorized the Holy Qur’an was held today at the College of Islamic Sciences.
The test aims to assess the level of memorization and Qur’anic performance of the students nominated to benefit from the initiative. It was conducted under the supervision of a specialized committee comprising faculty members from the College and the Holy Qur’an Institute at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine.
This step comes within the framework of the University’s and the College of Islamic Sciences’ commitment to supporting outstanding students in Qur’an memorization and encouraging them to continue their academic and Qur’anic journey, in line with the vision of the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine in promoting religious values and academic excellence.
