Training Course on “Foundations of Political Fiqh: Its Origin and Development in the Imami School” at the College of Islamic Sciences
The College of Islamic Sciences organized a training course titled “Foundations of Political Fiqh: Its Origin and Development in the Imami School”, delivered by Dr. Abdul Sattar Al-Jabiri. The course covered the key aspects of political fiqh in the Imami thought, including the sources of political legislation, principles of political practice, and the role of jurists in guiding and directing political action throughout history.
Dr. Al-Jabiri also presented the historical development of political theories during the Occultation, starting from the theory of guidance and direction, passing through various intellectual stages, and culminating in the theory of establishing and managing the state according to Sharia principles.
The course was distinguished by in-depth presentations and rich discussions, contributing to a broadened understanding among participants of the evolution of political fiqh and its impact on shaping contemporary perspectives on political action.
