University President Engages with Medical Students on an Innovative Project Supporting Advances in Health

The President of Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, Professor Ibrahim Saeed Al-Hayyawi, received a group of students from the College of Medicine who presented an entrepreneurial project idea regarded as the first of its kind at the university level. The meeting forms part of the University’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and enhancing students’ role in developing scientific solutions.

The discussion explored both the scientific and practical dimensions of the project, alongside an assessment of its technical and operational requirements. The project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, through the development of innovative solutions in the health sector; Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, by supporting applied research and entrepreneurial initiatives; and Goal 4: Quality Education, by linking academic outcomes to practical implementation.

The University President reaffirmed the essential role of academic institutions in nurturing student-led initiatives and supporting pioneering ideas. He emphasised the University’s readiness to facilitate the project’s development and transition it into the implementation phase, in order to strengthen the innovation ecosystem within the University and meet modern scientific standards.
