University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa (peace be upon him) welcomed a distinguished delegation of university presidents from the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the Iraqi–Iranian Science Week activities. The visit aimed to enhance joint academic and research cooperation and to explore the university’s educational programs and scientific initiatives.
During the meeting, the university’s administration presented a comprehensive overview of its academic journey and institutional development since its establishment. The presentation highlighted the university’s future vision, areas of specialization across its colleges and departments, as well as its most notable research achievements and innovative educational projects that contribute to academic advancement and student development.
This visit aligns with the university’s commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by fostering an inclusive and advanced learning environment, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through building international academic collaborations and exchanging expertise between Iraqi and Iranian universities.
Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding areas of joint scientific cooperation to improve the quality of higher education, promote knowledge exchange, and strengthen the position of University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa as a leading academic institution in the region.
